[ He's sure of it now. Not that it matters — not that he cares — but the Dome does seem particularly Scoobie free. Buffy's gone and she took the lit'le bit and that mangy mutt with her. Sam's been missing even longer and with that he's plum out of moral influence. It's a relief in a way. It allows him to not think so hard about that sad flicker of a soul he's got somewhere out there in the world. It's freedom but just as much abandonment. Angel's come and gone and now the last sliver of familiarity disappeared. The last man standing from Sunnydale and he has to wonder... did they find a way home?

Did he get left behind?

It's not something to dwell on in any case. Not when there's hunting to be done and without a Slayer in the dome, who's to stop him? Eric, the great big hypocrite? The Wardens? He'd love to see them try. But first... a few stiff drinks at the Rusty Spoon, formerly known as Merlotte's. For old times sake. ]

[The fact that he said what rather than who doesn't escape Anna, nor does the predatory gleam in his eye. It's a look she's more than familiar with -- from other vampires and from hunters. She's not sure which category he falls into, but she's willing to bet it's one of the two.]

I was distracted by the lovebirds. [She nods in the direction of the couple without taking her eyes off him, trying to assess what kind of danger she was in.]

Guess I don't see a point in beating around the bush. [She arches an eyebrow, relaxing at his revelation. Maybe she shouldn't, because even though he's a vampire, too, it doesn't mean he isn't out to cause trouble. But she'd take another vampire over a hunter any day of the week.]

That you're not one of the vampires from my world. [Her game face is more subtle than his, his forehead more bumpy. She glances around, and then lets her own true nature take over, revealing her fangs and eyes that turn just a bit darker than usual.]

Well, I know that Elena and Matt were both sent home. Stefan and Caroline are together, which is really bizarre, but whatever, right? [She shrugs.] I know Bonnie is involved with someone back home. [Yeah. Jeremy. The love of Anna's life.] The only one left was Damon. Unless I was wrong about Bonnie.
