[ He's sure of it now. Not that it matters — not that he cares — but the Dome does seem particularly Scoobie free. Buffy's gone and she took the lit'le bit and that mangy mutt with her. Sam's been missing even longer and with that he's plum out of moral influence. It's a relief in a way. It allows him to not think so hard about that sad flicker of a soul he's got somewhere out there in the world. It's freedom but just as much abandonment. Angel's come and gone and now the last sliver of familiarity disappeared. The last man standing from Sunnydale and he has to wonder... did they find a way home?

Did he get left behind?

It's not something to dwell on in any case. Not when there's hunting to be done and without a Slayer in the dome, who's to stop him? Eric, the great big hypocrite? The Wardens? He'd love to see them try. But first... a few stiff drinks at the Rusty Spoon, formerly known as Merlotte's. For old times sake. ]

[ He would not. Or rather, she probably wouldn't want to be with him and by now he's accepted that they're over, as tough as that was. If Dru showed up there would definitely be tension and doubt but it's not at all impossible that Rose would win out in the end. Less complications, if anything. ]

Yeah. Pre-dinner drink, some take-out on the way back... and then we celebrate proper. [ Sly grin. ]

	[ Idly, she wonders just how strong Drusilla was but if she was like other vampires in his world, then Rose would probably be stronger. [ Honestly, it would depend on when they decided to pull Dru in. Before the ritual with Angel, she'd be frail as a baby bird and if that's the case Spike wouldn't be able to stay completely away. After though? A lot less so. Still no match for Rose, based off what he's felt around her so far. ]

We've earned it... no better way to end a perfectly good day, if you ask me. [ He sneaks a hand up in her hair as he bridges the gap for the kiss, pressing himself firmly against her. ]

[ A wise choice. It's nothing to think about. Not now in any case and whatever lingering thoughts he had on his dear old sire, they're quickly dissipating as Rose presses against him. If they weren't going out for a proper meal he'd suggest that they skip dinner altogether and just head home for a shag-a-thon, but getting her to walk on the dark side even just a little... too tempting. Much too tempting. ]
