[ He's sure of it now. Not that it matters — not that he cares — but the Dome does seem particularly Scoobie free. Buffy's gone and she took the lit'le bit and that mangy mutt with her. Sam's been missing even longer and with that he's plum out of moral influence. It's a relief in a way. It allows him to not think so hard about that sad flicker of a soul he's got somewhere out there in the world. It's freedom but just as much abandonment. Angel's come and gone and now the last sliver of familiarity disappeared. The last man standing from Sunnydale and he has to wonder... did they find a way home?

Did he get left behind?

It's not something to dwell on in any case. Not when there's hunting to be done and without a Slayer in the dome, who's to stop him? Eric, the great big hypocrite? The Wardens? He'd love to see them try. But first... a few stiff drinks at the Rusty Spoon, formerly known as Merlotte's. For old times sake. ]

[So Garcia had more than enough to drink at Eric and Caroline's party the other night but she's learned that bars are the A-Number-One place to find company in this joint. And hey, she never met a basket of fries she wouldn't mack on for at least a while.]

[Spotting Spike is as happy an accident as it gets around here.] Fancy meeting you here -- no, I mean really. I usually expect to find your fine self at the Blood Shack. Not that I'm complaining.

[ Despite the rather vicious mood he's finding himself in tonight, Spike's pretty happy to see Garcia. She's fun. She's easy. She slit her wrist for him that one time and that is a gesture that will not be forgotten anytime soon.

Especially not if he can exploit it. He gives a nod and raises his (sadly) robot-poured glass of whiskey. ]

I make a habit of not drinking where I'm working, love. [ A beat. ] Scratch that. Usually I just make a habit of not working.

	I gotcha! Even when I worked like a million hours a week back home I had to have my playtime or bad things might happen. [She plops into a seat and orders a beer -- why not?
