[After the overwhelming therapy sessions yesterday, Bart knows that he should be more honest about certain things. While running usually doesn't solve his problems, it does give him a clear head - so off to his make-shift tracks he goes! Bart's slowed down his pace considerably compared to normal, so while he's not a red-and-white blur today, he's still faster than most runners. He stops every now and then to take a break, stretch, and slow down if he has to, but he's making rounds in all sectors but Sector 6 today.

When he's not running to his heart's content, Bart's either shopping at the Row (a guy's gotta have his hoodies!) or snagging food from various restaurants around town. Today so isn't a cooking day, even if he'd been enjoying his various experiments.]

Remember when I said I'd tell you if "Time Space Compression" or whatever was really weird? Turns out that really weird was an understatement. [He inhales sharply. While Bart had technically promised Korra he'd ping her about therapy, there's another, more pressing reason he's this nervous.]

Think you can hang out with me today to talk about it? It's a bit too... er, interesting? Yeah, too interesting to talk about over the network.

Since therapy totally sucked yesterday, let's make up for it by having some fun! If you've got stuff to do today, it can be something small. I got board games the other day! [Only a ~~somewhat~~ alternate version of Barry Allen would find sheer joy in owning a knock-off version of Life, which he holds up with a bit of pride.]

Or you know, just grab lunch or something. Anything to get that bad taste outta my mouth, you know?

	If she's a huge fan, then she'd know how it works better than I would. [He's already making a mental note to ask her something over the network later!] Maybe the three of us could figure out how to make this thing happen. [Yeaaaaah. Korra has authority issues. And is easily goaded. It leads to problems. She bristles a little as he buries his head in his hands, more than ready to defend herself because her punishments are so totally unfair, but she relaxes when he doesn't make an issue of it.]

Thanks. You're really great, you know that? [She doesn't think about the words until after they've left her mouth, and it makes her blush a little. What would Mako think? and then What does it matter what Mako thinks? It's still true. and It's not like he's even here.]

I think I could hear it a bit more often. [Sure, they're good friends, so the praise isn't that uncommon, but every time she tells him that? It makes his heart beat just a little bit faster.

People who aren't his big brothers and/or team members actually think his ideas are awesome? And they respect him? It's a bit overwhelming - in the good way.] Your world just sounds really cool, K. I kinda wish I could've seen it before I came here.

[Korra shakes her head and slides off the counter.] That's okay. I should be heading home anyway. [Inadvertently or not, he's done a good job distracting her from "what did I just say yes to?", but now she's reminded that she agreed to go on an actual date with him. She could use a little time and space alone to process what that means.]
