[237] 'Lost Someone Close to the Stabilizer' group mingle
[This group's to meet in the warm, coffee-scented air of Bean Crushers in sector four. Inside the shops doors there's a plethora of cushy chairs, couches and bean bags to sit on and a small stage typically used for poetry or comedy performances. Today it's re-purposed with signs encouraging individuals to use it as a platform to speak from, though smaller grouping of chairs are there for the less social to chat in smaller numbers. Through out the shop is the typical array of goodies; brownies, coffee, cookies and danishes as well as other pastries and small bowls of candy on available ledges. For those who need a little something to get through things, there's also a small selection of alcohol available on the premises.

Several signs and boards around the room list questions of discussion, as well as stacks of cards for inmates to use as topics. (A few examples: "Have you lost someone to the stabilizer recently? Do you miss them? How does it make you feel?" )

[OOC; Mingle! Feel free to use any of the mentioned questions or come up with your own topics of conversation, though remember that the food is spiked albeit delicious. I'll post a comment for Rebecca below, but will otherwise turn off notifs for this page.]

[Of all the groups that Michiru could have gotten put into, she's okay with this one. Everyone has lost someone to the stabilizer and so this seems to be least invasive of them. Maybe it was good that they remember others who were here. She smiles, seeing Miranda and goes over]

I think so too. Perhaps it is good to talk about those things, so we don't forget them.

	[That is exactly what Miranda thinks.] Yes. When we talk about them, we can remember how much we cared about them. I know some of them will come back [not that all of them would remember, and that hurts in its own bittersweet way], but we shouldn't forget them just because they aren't with us right nwo. 	Ah...well, that's a hard question to ask. [She's still smiling a little, but it's softer. She's lost a lot of friends.] People come and go all of the time. Mo-Most of my friends from home have gone by now. I've met some truly wonderful people here, as well. Minako was one of the first. [She has to laugh.] She was so lively. 	You know Minako? [She thinks about it and shakes her head with a smile.] That doesn't surprise me, she was making friends with everyone! 	I did. She was from my world. One of the first people I met when I arrived here. [She can't help but smile remembering her being here... and now she wasn't] That was common place for her about somethings. It would have been out of character for her to not get excited. 	Yes, and very...bright. I don't normally wear such vibrant and bold colors. Except white. [She'll stick to blacks, browns, and purples, thank you.] She was very persuasive while we were selecting them... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Oh yes, she does like bright colors for clothes. She can definitely be very persuasive. There's a few from my world that are hard to say 'no' to and she is probably the highest on the list. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Then maybe I don't feel so bad about always giving in. [Especially if even people from her home world can't seem to turn her down.] She was always so busy. I don't know how Minako managed everything she did. Planning the auction alone must have taken days. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
