[ With Pepper the puppy in tow, Caroline makes her way to Stefan's place. After the most awkward group therapy, she kind of just wants a break, honestly. Therapy can do that to you, give you clarity, make you realize what you want or what, really, you need. Because while her mind still aches thinking about how complicated everything is, she's pretty sure of what her heart needs, what it wants now, even if it's selfish.

Standing at his door, she takes in a breath before knocking, glancing down at Pepper and hoping that Stefan's home. Normally, she'd bring a bottle of something or maybe some food, but right now, she feels to anxious to eat and well, drinking is probably not the best idea considering the black wrist band on her arm and the one that matches it on his.]

I know exactly what you mean.

[The words said against her lips as he leans in to kiss her. He's sick of having to be careful, of watching what he does, just as before he'd been sick of having to watch what he'd say in case it hurt someone's feelings. Not that he would go out of his way, because he didn't want to upset Caroline, but he just wanted to be able to act on how he felt instead of waiting.

He'd done enough of that in his life.]

[ The elation she feels goes through her like a wave of heat, her whole body feeling as if it might spring back to life, like her heart might start beating, beating right out of her chest. She hums softly against his lips, pulling him closer, kissing him until her body starts to react.

Of course, instead of pulling him on top of her, she feels the most unpleasant jolt, a shock that makes her pull back with a pained gasp. Her eyes clench shut as she curses softly, her hand moving to grip just below her wrist where that black band resides. She sucks in a breath through clenched teeth--] Dammit.

[Stefan doesn't exactly come away unscathed, because really, what guy wouldn't react to that kind of kiss?

He sucks in a pained breath through his teeth as they are forced to jerk away from one another, and after hearing her swear beside him, he can't quite hold back the touch of laughter that bubbles up in his chest.]

Sorry. Not funny.

[Even though he's still smiling as he's rubbing at his wrist. Oops.]

How about the day after tomorrow? Just to give some space from the whole therapy thing. [ Namely Tyler. In case people find out.]

We can go up to the podium together. [ She pauses, glancing down at him before laying down.] Should we keep it a secret or... just kinda be whatever. [ Caroline is awful at being whatever but at the same time she feels bad for thinking they should keep it a secret at all. But Tyler and Elena and Damon, ugh.]

	It's a nosy ass-- [ she raises her voice at that as if the prison might hear it.] Although I guess I shouldn't insult it if I'm asking for a favor. [ She kind of hates that she has to ask for permission to have sex. It's a little... creepy.] It's like this place is a prison but at the same time, it doesn't feel that way, you know?
