Day 236 [action/closed]
[ Closed because I'm still actually on hiatus, and so as not to distract from the newbies. ]

[ When Dirk wakes up, his head is spinning, he feels nauseous and overwhelmed.

He cut his head off. They entered the game. Five months-- five months of nothing, of solving shitty game puzzles, of going on dates with Jake, and then...

...and now Dirk kind of wants to break something. He feels sick. What the fuck is wrong with him, how is he this much of a fuckup. Why is he such a piece of shit? With a light growl, he moves to get out of bed... and fails, because his boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, is fucking spooning him.

And then it all comes crashing into place. Dimensional stabilizer glitch. New memories of events he didn't actually experience, but they happened anyway? To alpha Dirk, he guesses? But he, this Dirk, has actually been here for the past two months.

He freezes in place as he tries to decide what to do. ]

At first Jake doesn't really know what to do. Should he ask someone for their advice? Would Bro know what to do? uu? Helix? But what if by then things get really bad!!!

After a moment's hesitation, he runs out in his boxers. He has to at least apologize for hurting his best friend's feelings!! And then he can ask for advice.]

[ Dirk releases a sharp breath through his teeth.

He wants to tear his fucking heart out and pound it against the floor until it stops beating, until he stops feeling this ache in his chest, this stinging behind his eyes, this fullness in his throat to the point that he feels like he can't even talk.

But try as he might he isn't a robot.

On shaking legs, he storms from the apartment without acknowledging Jake's apology. ]
