[Here is the self-proclaimed King of the Planet of Sadists, looking extremely tired. Dark circles and bags under his eyes.]

31 hours later, I beat the game... I am the master.

[He holds up his DS proudly. Then he sets it down and holds up a finger.]

This wasn't how I was gonna spend my day, but I decided to be a nice guy and give everyone a day off from living in fear from my torture and sadist ways.

[Her expression softens as she looks up at him. Poor Sougo, he's been through so much because of her. That's why she needs to be upbeat; she's shed too many tears in front of him already.]

What if we watch some TV on the sofa? If we happen to fall asleep, you'll be right there if I need you. We could even have Pink guard the door and raise an alarm if anything happens.

[When he asks like that, no way could she say no. But fortunately there'd be no need to, she always has energy to sing.]

[Lacus turns and reclines so he'll be more comfortable, still able to rest his head on her without hurting his neck.] All I need to sing is a reason and a happy feeling. You've given me both.

[So she sends Pink to watch the door and begins gently singing. Its the song she sang to her orphans when the remains of Junius 7 crashed down, something to let them know that everything would be alright. It seems fitting now.]

[She nuzzles her cheek against his hair, an unspoken you're welcome. Of course she doesn't mind him holding her; even the wounds on her neck ache a little less like this. One hand strokes down his back and the other rubs his arm as she sings. Hopefully it will reassure him that she wouldn't think of going anywhere.]

[She does wonder if he'll be needing to sleep close to her for awhile, until his nerves settle. Sleeping beside someone she loves is a great comfort to her, and one she has missed. If it takes Sougo a while to sleep without her, she wouldn't mind a bit. And if it encourages him to associate Lacus with his sister, she can live with that, even if she wishes he might come to see her differently in time. For now, it's whatever he needs that matters.]
