So that sure was a newbie-centric couple of days. Except most of them didn't stick around. [Yeah, it's still bugging her. No Derek, and the only members of her team were Gideon who still scares the hell out of her and a mini-Reid who she was too freaked out to even talk to. And then that weird other Tyki...]

If some of you got to see your loved ones and all that, I'm really happy for you. Really. But for totally selfish reasons, I... kinda hope it doesn't happen very often. Someone please tell me that's not a usual thing? Because if it is I'm going to stockpile junk food and make plans to hide out under the covers on a regular.

[Anyone who is in the area of the shopping hubs can find Garcia doing some retail therapy and also picking stuff up for her homebound bud, Rebecca. She's trying to cheer herself up and so a small radio is playing some upbeat and danceable music.]

Yeah, it sucks, but we can't stop it from what I've seen. Once the engineers of the last prison said it had to do with the margin of error for keeping the stabilizer functioning and us in the prison. But it happening every fifty or so days...? You could sync your watch by it.

I'm not sure if it's malicious on their part since it was the same in both prisons. [There's a tiny shrug, even if she can't see it.] It could be schedules maintenance to keep the system working. Like a site that goes down at a set time to save the bandwidth and clean out any bugs.

Maybe we can't prevent it, but could we take advantage of it? I mean if they're essentially lowering firewalls at random to let people in without processing...

You mean to like...escape? Because I'm not so sure people come the same way they leave. If we tried to use the error in their own code to get out, we could end up on Earth-45292 that's inhabited by giant snails.

[He sighs.] Man, if we could just get our hands on the code and read it... But they probably expect us to try that already.

Well... yeah. I mean maybe not to literally escape, but I'll take any frigging advantage I can get when it comes to cracking this code. Even if all it does is tell us that a door to Giant Snail World exists, it's more than I have now.

Yeah I'm grasping at straws. Pieces of straws. Bottom of the barrel, et cetera.

We already know that each prison is different. And if the...changes at Squall are anything to go by, when we leave, we might not actually be leaving. The engineers of the old prison talked about us being made up of data. Maybe we need to find out how.

My God that's so creepy. I mean, maybe it's an advantage since we can manipulate data is we can get access, but like... I wouldn't want to accidentally. Like. Do anything weird to anyone.
