[Puck's voice sounds cheerful, which isn't an unusual thing for Puck's voice to do, but to those who know him very well - not that there are many in the dome - it might actually sound a little more upbeat than usual.]

So it's been how many technical difficulties in how many days now? Not that I'm complaining [quite the opposite] or trying to imply someone else could do a better job, oh no... but I think it's about time we started taking bets on what it's going to be next.

Can we have a flood? How many other prisons can boast having had an underwater flood? [He playfully clear his throat.] --Probably one or two, considering how the prisons around here seem to multiply like cockroaches. But nevermind that. Underwater flood. Come on, esteemed overlords, you know you want it.

And from one topic to another... isn't there a little lamb out there who thinks something is a bit overdue?

[She's not used to his sort of pranks yet. At least not that he'd actually make them dangerous]

It would be a very odd way to build community, but it would probably work.

Take it from someone with some measure [hah] of experience with oddities - the odd ways are the ones that work the best. Generally speaking, of course.

They do? Well, I guess you are right about that... as long as it isn't too bad. Then it could bring morale down.

[She still had issues with the fact that she trapped her teammates in a simulation with her abilities]

Sure there's that risk. But you know what's so tremendously remarkable about people? [And humans especially.] When things get really rough is when they show what they're made of way deep down. It's amazing what they'll accomplish sometimes.

Oh that is true! Human ingenuity always seems to triumph when things are bad.

Flood is still an odd thought for it, but I see your point.

That wasn't supposed to be the default icon. Oh well.

I'm delighted to hear it. And ah, ingenuity, isn't it grand? Quick, tell me your favourite invention in the history of mankind. ["Human ingenuity always seems to triumph" = she's interested in history maybe?]

[Not so much history as humans in general, but she tries to cover the fact she's not human]

Um... I think airplanes. Letting people fly around and travel in a way they never had before.

[And the covering seems to work! Well, at least considering he doesn't automatically assumes she's human to begin with.]

Good answer. It did open up so many new possibilities, not to mention the improvements over the years are a delight to see. Right?

It did. So many people were able to travel to places they had never been to before and now it doesn't take months to go a great distance. They really are an amazing machine.

I'm glad to find a fellow fan~ Oh, but that sounds so trite. "Humanity enthusiast"? Unless it's more specifically the history/ingenuinity aspect in your case.

Well, humanity enthusiast might be an interesting way to put it. Humans have created so many interesting things over the years. It's quite remarkable.

[Maybe a slight slip there that she didn't consider herself as being human]

I completely agree, of course. Dare I ask how long you've been around? [Among the humans, he means. He noticed that slip-- at least he phrases the question somewhat vaguely?]

Thank you. History is such a fascinating subject.

Oh, it is. Living it is more fun, of course, but what can you do? --Say, isn't there someone attempting to teach it at our prestigious school?

Living it? What do you mean? Like doing something to make history?

That would be it exactly. [And more than likely he remembers quite a few big historical events like they were yesterday. Anyway:] And goodness, you mean you haven't considered joining the class? With such a shining opportunity for history from many worlds?

[She pauses a moment at that considering it] Maybe I should! That would be an interesting class, getting to learn so many new things about different worlds.
