Day 223 // video; open
[ The lady on camera is quite notably not wearing the standard issue jumpsuit, but instead a rather fetching top and skirt ensemble. Must've taken the time to get changed before addressing the network. She certainly doesn't seem as frazzled as new arrivals tend to be. ]

Good morning. [ A pleasant, warm contralto. ] As startling as it is to wake up in such new surroundings, I have to say I'm enjoying myself quite a bit already! It's a wonderful place, isn't it?

What do you like best about it? What are your favorite things to do?

That would be an interesting experiment... see what gives out first, their cynicism or my positivity! Either way I have a feeling I'll be the happier one.

Ohh, we could make a game out of it! But then there's always the risk of someone taking it upon themselves to be nasty just to come out the victor. [He's certainly not speaking from experience, no sir.]

That wouldn't be very good sportsmanship, would it? Why would anyone ruin a game by cheating?

Oh, because some people are boring and uncreative. [Puck's kind of cheating is about exploiting loopholes - now that's clever.] But in all fairness it'd be less cheating and more putting you to the test, don't you agree?

I suppose that's fair enough... alright. You have a deal. Let's make a game out of it.

[He was considering making it a game regardless of her feelings on the matter, but this works too!]

"How Long The Newbie Lasted": a game spanning... let's say two months? Once a week the newcomer reports three new wonders about the prison, along with any negative aspect she can think of. All delivered with a smile, of course. If she fails at coming up with three, or if the bad things outweight the good ones, that's a failure. Judgement and points for style will be given out by an impartial judge. [Ie, him.] How's that? It's a perfect excuse - not that you seem to need one - to get out there and get to know every nook and cranny of the place.

Easy-peasy! I could do this with my hands tied behind my back — actually, depending on who I talk to that might end up as one of the wonders...

The day is young and full of possibilities. ["Good luck with that :Db" ...You'd think he hasn't so much as glanced at the prison rules. Also, he's making a mental note to complicate the game for her.]

[ So amused. So very very amused. ] I better get going then, before the best part of the day is over!
