[ Chuck was not the kind of girl who took misfortune lying down. Sure, it might be scary and disorienting, waking up in an unfamiliar place and realizing that someone must've undressed and then redressed her in her sleep but moping about it wouldn't get her anywhere. Besides, after her last conversation with the Piemaker this sudden change of scenery came as more of a blessing than a particularly rotten cherry on the top of an already sour ice-cream sundae. At least it gave her something else to think about.

And so the girl called Chuck had distracted herself with picking out suitable clothing, fixing her hair and, which may or may not still be important, picking an alias. Now dolled up in a pretty red dress, scarf and sunglasses, she prepared herself for addressing the network that had humming with activity ever since she woke up, not unlike her own beloved beehives. ]

Hello... Marina, was it? My name is Kitty Pimms. I'm new here. I can't say I know a whole lot about prison etiquette, but it only seemed appropriate to say hi and this doesn't seem like your average prison anyway so... hi! It's nice to meet you.

And, uh... Olive? Emerson? [ A pause that could only be called pregnant. ] ...Ned? If any of you are around, now would be a good time to say so.

((ooc: Chuck is officially in Marina and with no memory of her 4th wall visit! She can be found wandering sectors 0, 3 and 4 if you'd like to bump into her! ))

Well aside from the rift in time and space running through the center of it and all the aliens you're not missing much.

Well, if I'm supposed to ignore the rift in time and space... [ Amused. ] It sounds like an exciting place.

It has its moments, I suppose.

[They've reached Sector Four by now and he gestures towards the apartment building.] Clocktower Estates. There are plenty of empty rooms, last I checked. Most of them come fully furnished, but there are plenty of shops nearby for things as well.

[ She brightens as she studies the apartment building. Kind of like home, actually. ] Oh, that is nice! You know, I've never had an apartment of my own before. It's kind of exciting.

Really? Well then consider this a chance for a new, admittedly prison induced, experience. There's a flat next to ours open, if you would like some eccentric neighbors to make the experience as cliche as possible.

Really? You wouldn't mind? I mean, couples must value their privacy...

Not at all; we're friendly, I assure you. And we try to keep the noise down. Er, mostly.

I'll make sure to invest in some good headphones. [ Amused. ] And bake you a pie. Do you like pie?

I think everyone likes pie. But that sounds nice. I'll even throw in some coffee.

Perfect! [ It gives her something to focus on. Three-plum? Rhubarb? Maybe even pear with gruyere? ] You're a real gentleman, Ianto.

You're not so bad yourself, Kitty.

Why thank you. [ A smile and a light squeeze on his arm. ] You've really made this prison thing a lot easier to deal with.
