Psssst. Got a question for all of you.

[ silence - background static - for a few seconds. there is the sound of a page turning, a deep breath, and then- ]

"If you were an animal, what kind would you be?"

[ guess who found the Big Book of Young Children's Icebreakers in the library. ]

Not fond of that one, huh? Let's see - aight, here we go. "Would you rather fight twenty duck-sized horses, or a horse-sized duck."

[ as a mentat, he has had many, many, many things asked of him in his life— but never has he been posed a question such as this. ] Ah, but does that not beg many questions in return? For what reason are such genetic mishaps being produced, and for what reason would such a brawl begin? Are the animals, perhaps, bred to fight— or could it be that they are menaces to society and must be obliterated? [ cue the most sassy of eyebrow raises.

for the record though: the former seems simpler to piter. if one is deft in his movements and wears sturdy footwear, he is quite sure that such small horses would be quick work. but he refuses to dignify such an asinine question with an answer.
