[There's definitely some aspects of the hero gig that Wally missed since he decided to retire and give the normal life a try. But finding himself in strange places with no idea how he got there certainly wasn't one of them. Especially when that strange place happened to be some sort of underwater dome. And while he missed out on the normal welcoming message that usually greeted new arrivals, he quickly gathered that this was some type of holding facility thanks to the orange jumpsuit and power suppressing anklet he's been fitted with.

At first he thought that all of this might've been the work of either The Reach or The Light, but the more he explored the place, the less likely he thought that to be the case. Neither one of them would have been so kind to dump him in a place this nice. So figuring there's only one way for him to get any real answers, he uses the communicator he's been given to send out a voice message on the network. And for some people in Marina, his voice might sound very similar to someone else's they already know in the dome, if only a little deeper.]

Well I must say that this is quite the dome you guys have here. I mean, I'm sure the prisoners at Belle Reve would kill to have a beach, an arcade, or even a...Plush Rump of their very own.

But who exactly do I have to thank for my impromptu underwater vacation? It's not that I don't appreciate it, but I was kind of in the middle of something important back home. [Helping stop alien invasions still count as being important, right?] Though I'm guessin' I'm hardly the first one here to make that claim, huh?

[Sigh. This really wasn't the "welcome back" he was looking for after temporarily rejoining the team.] Man, Artemis is so going to kill me for this.

[Oh, there's someone else that has heard of Belle Reve in the dome. And the voice is kind of familiar, but he won't think too much about that right now.]

Well, yeah. I've been there a few times.

[Just give him a few seconds and he'll realize just how bad that could sound.]

... I mean not in the long, extended visit type of been there. But sometimes I went there because of my... job. Which happens to be very legal by the way. [Nothing for you to be suspicious about here.]

[What. Barry is the least likely person ever to be justifiably thrown in jail. Except for that one part where he kind of screwed over all of history but since no one actually remembers that it doesn't actually count. Or something like that.]

I don't usually get a lot of time for that.

[Not that he really needs all that time because, well, the whole Fastest Man Alive thing, but things are pretty routine most days in Central City and he doesn't get a whole new of fresh new faces waiting to get their butts kicked.

But right. Introductions.]

Barry Allen. Forensic scientist. [Also the Flash.] It's not as glamorous as TV makes it out to be.

[Barry being in prison really is unfathomable, which is why there's a long moment of silence on Wally's end as he adjusts the setting of his communicator to private. He doesn't want anyone listening in as he tries to get to the bottom of this.]

Barry, it's me, Wally. [You know, your nephew and former partner in that other universe. ~~And also in that one before you screwed up its history.~~] Where are you?

[Obviously, the name 'Wally' is supposed to mean something to him, something very important. The fact that it doesn't ring even a single bell is upsetting, largely because Barry's never considered himself the type forget meaningful relationships.

He's several hundred feet from Quatro Park now but confusion over this conversation, clear in his voice, has slowed him down.]

Sorry, have we met? I don't think I know any Wallys. [Even as he says that, Barry's wracking his brains, trying to figure out where he might have met a Wally before.] Were you at the tech symposium a few months ago?

[Okay, the mention of 'other job' has him sobering up a lot, because as far as he knows Patty is the only person who knows that he's more than he lets on, much less knows that he considers superheroing essentially a second job.]

I think we should talk about this in person.

[Not a direct answer to Wally's question, but Barry isn't comfortable talking about this over some weird headset and to someone whose face he hasn't even seen yet.]

[It's easy enough to find the park, even with his slower than usual speed, and it's not long before Barry's making his way to the young man in the orange jumpsuit. Ordinarily he'd comment on his own lack of orange jumpsuit given that he's still wearing what he was before but all circumstances considered, right now doesn't seem very appropriate for that.]

You're Wally West?

[He doesn't bother introducing himself, since all that seems to have been taken care of already somehow.]
