[Probably not what anyone expected to see today. There is a giant sphere rolling around the dome. Not haphazardly mind you. It's not rolling as though it is trying to run someone over. In fact if something crosses its path, it stops and watches it go by or goes around it.

It seems to be looking for someone, something. Will it find it in this dome? Maybe, maybe not. Sphere will end up pretty much anywhere in the dome in its search]

[ true, he is most certainly not accustomed to conversations such as these, and that rustles him all the more. all the same, he makes an attempt to conceal his displaced jimmies and assumes her response to be one of the offended variety. ]

A rather unfriendly tone to take, I must say. [ the hypocrisy of saying such a thing hardly matters to him, and he smirks. ] Though I must commend your engineer— he at least was not so brazen as to create yet another thinking machine that plays at speech.

Well, since it might as well have been, not like there's much of a reason to be offended by him assuming. Really someone needs to come here who has some idea what she's saying. This is... going rather poorly. [ that he realizes he has to admit such a thing is certainly a development. he almost said "the situation is in hand," but realized how markedly more foolish he would sound. ] Are there those that can understand such prattle as yours? [ vaguely hoping she may be able to scout one out or some such, though he hardly expects such a production to occur. ]

[ this is one of those situations where he is simply out of his element. it's safe to say that he's never had an interaction like this one before— plenty of bizarre happenings and things that few other people other than piter himself could have ever experienced, but still, nothing like this. it definitely irritates him, but he can't help but allow a part of him to be interested, to analyze all that it can. ]
