[ Buffy has a routine. She doesn't necessarily want a routine, but she's got one. It starts reasonably early in the morning.

[Morning--Sector 1--Athletic Complex]

Buffy jogs to the athletic complex dressed in a zipped hoody, tank and yoga shorts. She spends the next couple of hours going through tai chi movements, stretching and wailing on a punching bag and/or fighting dummy. Once she's worked all the restlessness that comes with being a slayer and nothing to slay out, she jogs back to her apartment. She can be interrupted on the way to the complex, during her workout or on her way back to her apartment.

[Mid Morning/Afternoon--Sector 4--Closed to Dawn]

Once she's showered, Buffy yells for Dawn. Yes, they live in the same two bedroom apartment, but that doesn't mean that yelling isn't necessary. It's a sister thing.

"Dawnie!! Breakfast is a thing we should go do."

They'd probably end up shopping as well. It was a common Summers bonding activity.

[Evening--Sector 4--Merlottes]

Evening finds Buffy doing something else routine. She's at Merlotte's waiting tables for the dinner shift. Feel free to have her wait on your table, catch her in between tables or at the bar. ]

[Okay, sometimes Buffy is bad with names, but in general, she's good with faces. She recognizes the girl and knows that she's new, but she doesn't remember her name. In any case, she waves back, taking a break from pummelling a training dummy. ]

Punching anyone in particular or just general negative vibes, which totally deserve a punch in the face if you ask me. The vibes, I mean. I think. [She looks confused for a moment before she smiles brightly. ]

You caught me. There's nothing like visualizing your ex while you're punching something. It always makes me feel better.
[ she laughs it off, it's nervous. just the thought of her ex made her uneasy around people. ]
Yeah. How could I forget? You were one of the first to make contact with me when I got here. Thanks, by the way.

[ Prue was, but she passed away. So she wasn't going to bring it up. Besides, she couldn't even begin to talk about her without her eyes watering. ]
Yeah, she is. I'm the middle sister.
[ And she gives her a nod, a smile curving her mouth. ]
Of course, someone's got to be the strong one and in this type of situation, you should definitely be protective of your sister. Besides, even if we complain about the whole 'over-protective' thing, it means you care.

[ She slides her hands into her pockets. ] I bet she's a handful. I had my rebel years. Poor Piper and Prue. Always having to cover for me.

	Exactly. [ pheebs would have said that she wished she could turn back time, but, she had to be careful with wording things. besides, in the halliwell family, even if her mother and grandmother died, on occasion they could summon her spirit. so in some ways, they would always be around. ] Things would have been different if I had known. [Buffy would be suspicious of turning back time, not because of the ability but because she knows that every action and moment impacts everything else. She wouldn't want to erase some of the good things because of the bad things. That being said, she might take back sleeping with Angel the second time seeing as how it had turned out even worse than the first time. ]

Right? It'd be nice to write yourself a letter and have it delivered at the perfect time.

[ There was one time when Phoebe and her sisters went back in time, she wrote a note to her mother. One that warned her about the day of her death, but she didn't leave the note. She took it with her when they traveled back to the future, knowing that such a note would change everything and everyone they have touched.

She smiles at what Buffy says, ] Sure would. Sometimes things are meant to be, you know? No one can run away from destiny.
