[Nunnally's mostly managed to get the sand out of her hair at this point. She almost looks like her normal self now! Except for that hideous jumpsuit. One might be expecting her to start protesting innocence or launching a tirade against the wardens, but Nunnally seems worried, not indignant.]

Excuse me, everyone.

This may sound strange, but I went to sleep in another underwater dome called Marina Asylum and woke up here. Did something bad happen? It didn't seem like they would need to transfer people...

[The communicator is similar enough that Nunnally switches the feed to private. She could wait, but not knowing is the worst. There's no Suzaku to be found, but the communicator does recognize Euphie. Thank goodness...]

[Lelouch made his way quickly to the beach, well, as fast as someone with his lack of running skills could make it. He supposed he shouldn't be too surprised. Euphemia was here, why couldn't Nunnally? He should consider himself lucky that someone like Mao hadn't been incarcerated here.

But what to say? Her enemy was Zero, and he was dead as far as he was concerned.

[She was standing. Such a simple thing. But it last happened a lifetime ago. The possibility of healing he had faded with each passing year since their mother's assassination. But here she stood. Whole. Alive. He could see Marianne in her eyes.

[But instead of finding something to say, he finally just pulled her in for another hug. He buried his fingers of his left hand in her hair at the nape of her neck, and wrapped the other around her middle. As though he would bodily prevent anything from happening to her ever again.

He shook, ever so slightly. He had been holding in his own emotions for so long, he didn't know what to do with himself.]
