Feels I went home for a bit, or somethin'. Or I got new memories anyways -- I remember hearin' bout that happenin' to other people. Last thing I remember was it bein' day 216 -- that was twelve days ago. The orange don't suit me much better than it did the first time. Whatever's goin' on it's sure as hell fuckin' weird.

I gotta question for everyone though. If someone you loved, someone you really hurt but still care about, if they wanted to forget about you completely -- what would you do? Like if you could do that for them, would you?

[Because she did. But she's still not sure how she feels about it. Even if she's not in love with Hoyt anymore she still cares about him. For what that's worth.

There's other things, things with Bill and the Authority but that she doesn't want to talk about so publically. How he 's turned into a religious fanatic like her birth parents used to be. It makes her skin crawl. The memories are fresh and make her feel sick to her stomach. She'd rather not focus on them too much.

[ matt almost doesn't respond to this, given what he had caroline do -- what he pretended worked when he'd been on vervain at the time. it makes him wince internally, and he's reminded of all the things he can't remember thanks to compulsion. things other people thought he didn't want to remember, or maybe they were things he didn't want to remember at the time, that are inaccessible to him thanks to vampires screwing around with his head. he couldn't remember vicki at the end, and he kind of wanted to, even if he knew it wasn't going to be pretty. maybe he would've let go easier if he'd been able to process all that from the start. ]

No. Things like that, they always blow up in people's faces.

Yeah. Maybe. [It's not like Hoyt will be around for them to find out. He's going to Alaska -- probably not ever coming back. Maybe it is for the best but the selfish part of her kind of wishes she could take it back.

She had only glamored him once before -- when she fed on that other guy while they were still together. She had never wanted to do that to someone she cared about. And even if she doesn't love him the way she used to -- it's Hoyt. He was her first love.]
