226 [Action] | Closed party for Merlotte's employees
[Sam has encouraged his employee's to take the holiday off to go and enjoy the snow or festivities while they last (This is part of their gift from him). He won't force people to leave if they insist on working but Merlotte's probably won't be very busy anyway.

Later this evening he'll close the bar down for a christmas party he's throwing for his employee's. They've been told they can bring one guest of their choosing, be it a friend, significant other or a family member! Food, drinks, music, gifts, the whole shebang just for his wonderful volunteers. Happy Holidays!]

~~Sam will be giving certain special ladies (and Spike) gifts for the holiday!~~

Buffy - A silver necklace With a thicker made chain so if she needs to use it ...
Sookie - A pair of earrings
Lacus - A Lotus necklace
Rose - A bottle of red wine
Spike - A bottle of whiskey-- Both packaged together "For the happy couple. Seasons Greetings. Sam"

It's alright, a gift is a gift. [He takes it, opens the small box and pulls out the bottle opener with a wide smile on his face. Yes, he gets the reference.]

That's really great, Thank you. I'll keep it in my pocket at work at all times.

[ He's rubbing the back of his neck a bit.] And uh, admittedly... I wasn't sure if ya even like wine? I almost gave ya blood wine but... I figure if anythin' you two could share the whiskey and save the wine for a special occasion.

[Clearing his throat.] If you'd rather have blood wine I can switch the bottle.

[Look how cute he is trying to be sure he gave the right thing/something she'd enjoy.]

You're welcome. I'm glad you like the gift. I wasn't sure what to get you but then I saw it in one of the shop windows and thought of you.

[It was meaningful in a way and she really was pleased that he accepted it.]

Blood wine? [She purses her lips for a moment, not sure what to make of that.] I never knew something like it existed.

I'll be fine with the normal wine, Sam. I've been a fan of it for a while now- many years in fact. The whiskey will go down very nicely for the both of us. Thanks.

[It really was sweet and Rose could appreciate the gesture.]
