[ He's nervous as they head down to the beach, backpack filled not only with presents but with a few choice items as well. Ritualistic. A ceremony he hasn't been a part of for years and that normally requires a month of preparations but here they are in the land of last-minute-surprises and Aidan can't pass up this opportunity. It's as close as he'll ever get to a Winter Solstice celebration ever again and although it isn't a pig being slaughtered and there's no designated boulder here, he'll do what he can with what he's got.

Hands bare and reddened by the cold, he reaches out to grab Helix's hand as they walk. Nervous. Excited. ]

Hey, y'all. Happy holidays and uh... and all that. [ Unsure if he did that right. They don't do Christmas where he's from and that's very much the point of this transmission. ] I was thinkin', I bet there's plenty of us that don't celebrate th' way the Wardens've set this up. We've got people from all over the worlds after all, it'd be weird if everyone did it just like this.

How do you do it back where you're from? Do you celebrate... Christmas or is it somethin' else?

Oh, and uh... I'll be doin' a little celebration type thing of my own down at th' beach, if anyone wants to join. Just a little somethin' from back home... bring a cup, if you're comin' down.

[ Action; open. Aidan can be found down at the beach together with Helix. They've set up a fire in one of the fire pits and anyone interested will get an introduction to the godless earth-worshipping religion that Aidan is a surprisingly devout follower of. He can also be found scurrying over the dome throughout the day, delivering GIFTS to friend and foe alike! If your character isn't on the list but has some kind of CR with Aidan, feel free to assume they got something useful and generic like a pair of gloves or a scarf! ]

	'Cause it's all fake. All the stuff that everyone's supposed to do everyday -- be kind to one another, appreciate your friends, whatever else -- they wait til holidays and birthdays to do that stuff. It's stupid as hell. So what if someone does that every day? Is it still fake then? Cause... that's kinda what we do back home — we ain't got Christmas but we kinda used th' Solstice as an excuse to be extra nice an' give th' people we care about somethin' they need. It's more... encouraged, I guess.
