Day 223: Video Closed to Jack, Sam, and Oz
[Private to Jack] [Martha's been keeping her distance from Jack, and aside from the panic of the tentacles and moving prisons, she's seen very little of him. Right now she's making sure he's OK. And reaching out to let him know she's ready to talk if he wants.]

I didn't see you at the other prison. Just wanted to make sure you're still around. I haven't seen you much other than Defense duties. Are you holding up all right?

[Private to Sam] [She never actually told him she solved her werewolf problem and that he probably should stop looking.]

Hi Sam. I just wanted to make sure you made it through the previous few days all right. Also, I should let you know I met the werewolf who attacked me. In human form. And yeah... you don't need to go looking into it for me anymore.

Private to Oz] [Now that she knows what he is, and now that she's still working through her fear of him, Martha also wants to keep up on Oz and make sure he's OK.]

You handling all the random changes OK?

	"Let's go with bonding. I'd like to think we bonded rather than he thought I was crazy." She does smile though. It's a little thin. Losing Tom had clearly hurt her. "Most of the people I kissed had fun too!" he points out, because obviously there were a couple of exceptions there, but only one (Piter) seemed to get no enjoyment out of it whatsoever.

He realises he's still holding his rapidly cooling coffee and takes another long drink of it.

"Well, I'm glad you've got someone here apart from me and Ianto to go to if you need someone," he tells Martha seriously. "You know, just in case - you never know when people will disappear here."

"D'you remember when the sky was on fire? The Sontarans had tried to invade and the Doctor, Donna, and I stopped it. Well, just after that, the TARDIS kidnapped me and took us to this planet that was in the middle of a war between humans and creatures called the Hath. They're a fish breed and breath with a liquid apparatus attached to their mouths.

"Anyway, there was a war on this planet between the Humans and the Hath. During an explosion, I got separated from the Doctor. I was stuck on the Hath side... and these Haths hated humans. I helped one out though and somehow became well known and respected among them."

She grins, intentionally not thinking about the part where her friend ended up dying to save her.

((OOC: According to the tardis wiki: "In 2010, two Hath were seen at an extra-terrestrial bar when the Tenth Doctor came to visit Jack Harkness one last time before his regeneration. (TV: The End of Time)"))

He listens with interest, and a big grin. "Good for you! So that's not just one planet you've saved now, but two, huh?" A beat. "Well, I'm sure there are loads more too. I never did really have time to just sit down and hear all your stories of life aboard the TARDIS!"

“Ah, right.” He squeezes her a bit, sympathetically. “But, wow, she died? While he was still there?” He honestly can’t imagine how the Doctor took that, but the desperation he thought he saw in the Doctor the last time he saw that regeneration is starting to make a bit more sense now.

“What else has happened to him, Martha? What else has he been through that I don’t know about?”

"Ah right, yeah." He grins ruefully. "So many different points in time to keep track of, here, and I'm out of practice! Well, I guess we'll probably never know. He's not exactly one to share his innermost feelings, is he?"

He drains the last of his coffee and sets his cup down, glancing at it wryly. "Do you know, I still can't quite get used to having the time to actually sit down and finish a whole cup of coffee without the world trying to end on me."
