[ Surprisingly enough, feeling all heavy and hungover and disoriented is working in Aidan's favor. It takes the edge off, allowing him to mechanically go through the motions of getting his rations and showering (absolutely no shyness in public baths, would you believe it!) and getting dressed and even starting some breakfast for him and Helix. At least the boy knows how to cook.
