My, my, this is quite the development. Get unlawfully incarcerated, get a free Skype account and a reject Xbox headset. Microsoft ditched this design for a reason, but it's good to know that access to social media isn't limited to the footloose and fancy free. They can cross being biased against the criminally charged off their would be lawsuits -- if any of these charges happened to be valid, that is. You seem to be lacking a proper judicial system. Get one. The Big Brother look isn't good a look on anyone, and I have zero interest in playing along with your little game of transdimensional authoritarian checkers, Stalin and Mussolini. [ that'd be you, conscienti and veridical. ]

As for the pocket placement itself, sans your little list o' crimes... [ a shrug of indifference. ] As a good friend of mine once said, "Go to heaven for the climate, hell for the company."

[ not like he's got anything better to do -- at least, not at the moment. give it time, he'll grow bored and restless, and start rattling the bars on his underwater cage soon enough. neither will stop him from being difficult, though. ]

Anyone know if this thing happens to do Guitar Hero?

I've been through worse. [ being vamped, devamping himself, being revamped again, having to walk through that tunnel of geomagnetic electricity... ]

Again with the whole 1980s theme.

As have a good deal of us.

[ said with a smile by the girl who's died a few times over. ]

I wouldn't know. About the 1980s, I mean.

Before your time or not your time at all?

[ it doesn't take a genius -- or maybe it does -- to clue into the fact that this world has a unique sort of pocket placement, full of an assortment of people from places and worlds. much like a drawer of miscellaneous things all tossed in together, as if they don't fit with anything else. what's true for him may not necessarily be true for everyone else. ]

Not my time at all. My species doesn't measure in years; we have solar sweeps.

[ she smiles politely, because sharing information is always fun for her. ]

What were the 1980s like?

Very tacky. The 1980s, not your system of measurement. Tell me, does one solar sweep equal one Earth year?

Tacky can be fun.

[ an amused, brief giggle. ]

No, actually -- a sweep is a smidgen under half an Earth year. For example, I'm six sweeps old, and that would place me at 13 in human years.

And me at 77.5 sweeps old, if I did my math right.

[ and he should, considering his flare for much more complicated mathematics. but his player sucks at math SO ]

That puts you well over the lifespan of a normal human, does it not? How curious! Are you something different, then?

[ please excuse her eager and slightly impolite investigation. this is just how she is. ]

Never said I was a normal human. Abnormal, actually.

[ good thing he doesn't mind. ]

So you are human, then, just a variation? What would you categorize yourself as?

Something like that. The technical term actually is Abnormal.

[ also vampire, but he's keeping his fangs to himself for the time being. ]

I see. Very straightforward, then.

What other traits do you possess that separate you from what would be normal? I apologize for all the questions -- it's just so fascinating to learn about all the new people that show up here.

I don't like to beat around the bush. [ except when he does. ]

What makes you think I posses other abilities? [ vampirism, electromagnetism... ]

Simply a guess. Am I incorrect? Assumptions aren't always the best, I know.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not one to kiss and tell.
