[Perhaps normally Rebekah would be commenting on the craziness of the day before and the rollecoaster her emotions and went on (she's always fallen in love easily, but that was ridiculous) -- but not so much now.

She went to the kiosk to confirm what she had already been worried about. And then she went back to the apartment and she's sitting in what was Quinn's room -- which can be seen as rather trashed in the background.

Someone had a bit of a shit fit.

The message itself is short.]

Quinn Fabray is no longer here with us.

[And then the feed cuts. That's it.]

Action

[Later she leaves again and makes her way to The Blood Shack where she'll be spending the rest of the evening trying to drown her sorrows in glasses of alcohol. Quinn had been her friend -- the first real one she had had in a long, long time. She had tried so hard to keep her safe, even vervaining her behind Niklaus' back -- and she's gone anyways.

So much for that. She forgot the risk that came with caring.]

[As someone who feels an awful lot of guilt pretty much all the time, Stefan can tell her that frankly? It sucks.]

[He takes a long sip out of his glass before putting it back down and spinning it back and forth on top of the bar.]

I'd ask how you're holding up, but I can guess.

[Poorly? Terribly? Completely awful?]

I'm sorry.

[He knows it doesn't mean much, but at least he can say it to her face. That means more than just dropping a message over a phone.]

I suppose it's pretty obvious.

[Rebekah's never been one to hide her emotions well, generally just wearing them on her sleeve instead.

She thought she would have time to fix things, or something but now Quinn is just gone and she's not really sure what to do with that.

She looks up at him again at the apology. It sounds sincere, at least.]

[He just nods his head slightly before he brings the glass to his lips again. It is sincere; making some real friends was no doubt good for Rebekah. It's certainly made her less angry, at least that he's noticed, and it's never a bad thing to give her an outlet for companionship outside Klaus, in his opinion.]

Did she ever mention wanting to go home?

[It might make it easier in general, if she did.]

	Several times. She missed being able to check in on her daughter. [She had admired that in Quinn -- the strength it must have taken to give up her own daughter, her family. 	I didn't realize she had one. [His voice is soft, his expression thoughtful, as he looks down into the glass.] That's nice, then. Good for her. [That was one way that he and Rebekah were similar. 	Her name is Beth, Quinn gave her up for adoption. [Which Rebekah can't even begin to fathom. Giving away family like that. 	It is. Apparently the father chose it after some song. [Quinn had been so forthcoming with the story. It's still a surprise to Rebekah, that easy honesty the other girl had seemed to have. She nods, draining the rest of her glass.] That it does. (Reply to this) (Parent)
