Whoa. This “crimes list” is fantastic. An outline of my accomplishments. Great and terrible. And I haven’t even done most of it yet?

But. “Cheating”? You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. I don’t cheat. Fix it. Put it right immediately. Maybe I’ll forget about your little “mistake.” And let you die quickly. Instead of slowly and painfully.

[And then Caliborn brushes it off, at least for now, because he has more important matters to attend to.]

[And she does! It turns out that Caliborn is really lazy, because she starts leading him to the apartment complex right in the sector. After she calls up her map to double-check that she's going the right way, anyway.]

I do hope so.

What are the other people around here like? I haven't had a chance to speak with anyone new, given all the fussing I've had to do over my brother.

Maybe it's because I've only just arrived, but I can't imagine being bored by that.

[She stretches a bit as they walk. Calliope is finding it hard to fully wrap her mind around the idea of "other people" being a thing, and she finds herself continuously framing everything in terms of either her friends, or the idea of troll culture, and she knows she needs to try and broaden her horizons.]

	When you break the rules around here, you get press-ganged into doing random shit the wardens decide. Like right now I'm in the middle of a fuckload of hours of community service. [She giggles at that, and then pushes open the door.]

[It can be said that an extremely good and solid effort was made, at some point, to clean the place up. Especially since there is a dustpan laying somewhere, and a trashcan willfully upended and the contents scattered everywhere (containing the shattered remains of what was probably other, pre-existing furniture and kitchen appliances). The table has been flipped and there are claw marks on the wood parts of the wall.]

[Calliope hurries over to snatch up a note reading "OOPS. BETTER CLEAN THIS uP AGAIN. WHORE." taped to the trash can, hoping Dirk didn't have a chance to catch that. She crumbles it up.]

--sorry. It was cleaner before I fell asleep.

Definitely the latter. Don't worry about pitching in if you don't feel like it. Human house guests aren't supposed to do labor, right? [She rights the trash bin and throws the note in there, and then goes looking around to see if she can find where Caliborn hid the broom.]

He's been especially volatile all day. Maybe he's not adjusting well...
