[ Hey, it's your perky, friendly neighborhood ~~vampire~~ party planner. And she looks excited despite it being late at night. She's got a lot to be happy about. Jenna and Bonnie are here. She doesn't know about the new addition to the Original family, and she's able to pretend like kissing bots never happened. ] We're having a karaoke competition at the Shack, sponsored by Eric Northman--[She threw that in there cheekily] day after tomorrow. Karaoke, for those of you who don't know, is singing songs that are famous or whatever along with the music.

So come for the drinks and stay for the singing. Compete or just stick around to vote for your favorites. We'll be giving away prizes for the top singers. Questions? Comments? Song requests? Ask away!

[ it's been a long day - jenna, and talking to people, thinking, damon showing up to 'help her pack.' caroline disappeared sometime from the apartment. she saw her message, smiled, glad and affectionately amused to see caroline having something fun planned, and busied herself likewise, assuming that's where caroline ran off to.

it's late by the time elena pokes her head out of her room to go find her bestie. it's not odd she might have come in late, or later than this, but they usually check in to say hi. she pushes her bedroom door open and peers in. ] Caroline?

[ caroline had managed, somehow, to sneak into the apartment. her arm is on fire, at least it feels that way. and the last person she wants to see this monumental failure is elena. honestly, caroline hadn't expected damon to act that way.

they always bated each other, sure, but this was on a whole other level. and now her arm hangs mangled at her side, her thumb black and blue and just as messed up. healing wasn't happening and caroline had drank two bags of blood before coming home to no avail.

and elena has the horrible timing of coming in just as caroline is about to try to set the bone (which she has NO idea how to do) so when elena peers in, caroline's jaw drops, the pencil she'd been biting down on falls to the floor and there's no hiding just how bad her arm looks.]

[ this? is not what's expected for elena either. the sight of caroline like that, the clatter of the pencil on the floor. elena doesn't think twice past her parting lips and the horror on her face. she rushes forward. ] Oh my god, what happened?
