I jus' wanted t' announce that th' Rusty Spoon will be undergoin' a name change t' Merlotte's an' will be officially open as of right now. As in all our construction is finally done.

I was looking' t'celebrate tonight an' I figure after all of th' therapy some of y'all could really use a drink er'two. This one especially goes out to everyone who helped me put everythin' together and t'make this possible. Thanks for all your hard work!

I'd really appreciate y'all comin' in and at least seein' th' menu or takin' a load off. I have a pool table an' y'kin play cards or jus' plain socialize and cure what ails ya. We made some finger foods and bits o'stuff t' sample from th' menu too.

So stop on by an' I promise ya won't have t'spill yer guts unless it's t'the porcelain goddess.

[Okay so he's not the best to be talking publicly to people but hey. It's only slightly awkward right? It's a little funny right?]

((ooc: Go ahead and treat this like any mingle. Sit at the bar, play pool, drink, nibble food to eat or dance (just this once, one of his rules is no dancing)! There is a table set up with tid-bits of burgers, or hot dogs or chili or whatever sort of southern/comfort/american diner foods you could think of. Help yourself! Threadjacking and such is encouraged. Have fun!

notes to his staff, feel free to assume you are there to help, helped earlier to set up, or will help after to clean up, or just there to have fun. He is a-okay with a minimal staff for the even so that all of you can celebrate. But if others are just super willing to help out he will not say no.))

Y'seem like a good man, a better man than most if ya know what ya want is wrong and ain't hidin' that fact. Yer still bein' more honest than most. An' y'have guilt for it, means yer heart is in th' right spot. It ain't like yer killin' jus' t'kill, ya got yer reasons an' i'm willin' t'bet they're good'uns.

He doesn't want to upset his employee and it was a touchy subject it seemed.] who knows... maybe there is a way out of here. 	I'm sorry t'hear that. That your world ain't safe that is. S'not much of a home if y'don't want to go back to it. But I'm glad yer happy here though.
