[ What comes on over the audio is nothing but noise at first. Someone or something is grappling with the communicator. Fingernails perhaps? There is also the incoherent shouting of a male voice that might be familiar to some, but with the way the audio receptors are being abused, it will be hard to make out many words at all. ]

[ The young man sighs, and there is one final bit of noise as he slip the device on over an ear. ] Okay. Is it on? I think it's on. This looks different.

[ He clears his throat and takes a deep breath. His attempt is to sound braver than he feels and certainly less seasick than he should be. ] Excuse me! Whoever can hear me, I'm... I'm looking for some friends! They're very important to me, so if there is anywhere I can ask about them, can you please point me the way? I think I saw a map? Maybe if I—

Yeah, you don't remember? [The background voices were going unnoticed for now...] You were there a really long time. I mean like... way before me and stuff.

Well, relatively speaking. Time works weird around here, and all that, so like, something that was a year weather-wise, was really only like a month. If you have 30 day months. Not everyone does, I don't think... [Sorry, babbling a little here. She was just happy to see someone familiar come back again.]

Please, slow down! I'm having a hard time keeping up with that idea. You're saying... that you knew me because I was here for a really long time?
