Multiple Icon Uploading
Edit: Also check out Li's option in comments. Which also gives you the steps for saving the icons from your current icon page.

Upload multiple icons at once to InsaneJournal by:

1. Creating an account at Journal Watcher. (I don't think you even need to use a real e-mail address, though I did.)

2. Following all instructions for creating the uploadable .zip file.

3. Changing your journal password. (You don't have to do this. I just think it is safer since you'll have to provide it to the service.)

4. Uploading SUPER fast!

5. Changing your journal password back. (Or don't change it the first time and just change it afterward. Or ignore the password thing altogether.)

Note for Mac users: I found that making a .zip file through the Mac OS automatically created a folder and botched the process. My work around was emailing the files to my PC and doing it there, but I'm sure there are other ways and if all else fails, you can email your icons to me and I'll make your .zip file for you.

Retrace everything. Make sure everything is icon-ready (right size and type and such. If you've used them before then they are.), were you careful not to get any folders in your .zip file (I had one sneak in by default when I did it from the Mac, but I had no problem with WinRAR), make sure there are no spaces in the .zip file name.

Did you get any errors? When I had a folder I got an error message.

Then later I uploaded Yuuri icons and I only got half of them, and it turned out to be a .zipping problem of some sort.

You could try opening your .zip file and looking to make sure everything was properly included.

After talking further to Kay, I think my sloppy method is actually easier. XD

1. Download: for Windows, for Mac. Unzip it to your desktop.

2. Go to your "view all icons" page. (It should be here.)

3. Save this page. (In Firefox, "Save page as...") Make sure it's also saved to your desktop.

4. Go into the folder for your saved page (it'll be "somethingsomething_files"), and copy all the icons out of it. Move them into the ij-iconuploader folder (Windows) or the ijuploader folder (Mac).

5. Double-click on upl.bat (Windows) or run upload.sh (Mac).

6. Input your username and password when prompted.

7. Wait! This method takes a few minutes at this point, but you don't have to do anything else.

Oh, and you can also get icon keywords to show up, if you change the filenames of the images -- so, same thing as the Journal Watcher method. Not sure if spaces are allowed by my method, since I didn't try it. *...tries it*

Nope! No spaces allowed.

Spaces and special characters can actually go in the image filenames. See here and here -- those were keyworded by changing the filenames to "KEYWORD.png". It accepted spaces, punctuation, and even Japanese characters.

It's just the .zip file that can't have spaces in the name.

I see! Well, it's a limitation of the method I offered, nonetheless. I think. Unless I just did something wrong. XD
