He liked the way she looked at her, he found. Not that she was friendly, warm or inviting in that moment. In fact, she looked like he'd insulted her and she was trying to cover it up. But there was so much to her, especially her eyes. The bright yellow held expression like he'd never seen. It took a lot of control to not hunt down a pen and paper to try and capture it.
"I'm sorry if I've offended you," Steve said instead, "it's just...not something you see every day. I do like it, though. I'm not...I'm not going to ostracise you or anything."
