So, why bother now? I'm no different to anyone else, am I? I'm just that guy you've been screwin' around with for a while, so why apologise to me? [Dean wasn't sure there was an answer that either of them wanted to hear out loud. He didn't like this, not one bit. He didn't want to get attached because he knew damn well that Selina would die because of him, because he was cursed or something stupid like that, because everyone around him and Sam died, even each other. Dean wanted to be the one going out with a gun in his hand, as long as Sam was safe, and yet here he was, wanting to be with this woman, and hating himself for it.
Looking at her with a hard gaze when she spoke again, Dean paced away from her, swiping a vase off a table in frustration, watching it hit the far wall and letting out a breath. Knowing his luck, that vase was some expensive, irreplaceable, historical object that he just threw at a wall.] You know what? Yeah, I got a few people here. My little brother, my angel, a demon who had way too much fun screwin' over my whole family for the past eight years, but for a while I needed you.
[Pacing back towards her, Dean wished she was a guy simply for the fact he wanted to hit her, and he never hit a lady unless she was a demon.] I know the crap you've been through, Selina, and I'm sorry I got myself killed out there, but it was an accident, there was no way to get back. I screwed up, I get it, but you screwed up too, so we're on even ground. [He shook his head, pointing to her as he spoke.] You weren't around when I needed you, and you think I don't really need you around, but guess what? I'm not your dead boyfriend, I'm your very alive, very pissed off... whatever the Hell we are. So quit shovin' me away because I'm only stupid enough to chase you so far.
