Staff Meeting
WHO: Dean Alden and all of Alden's Professors
WHAT: Staff Meeting
WHEN: Saturday Morning (Backdated)
WHERE: Meeting Hall in Administration Building
RATING: TBD
STATUS: Incomplete
The summer semester had ended a few weeks ago and the fall semester was set to begin in a couple of days. Henry wanted to make sure that his staff were as informed as possible on the new semester's expectations as well as listen to any troubles they might be experiencing. He had also decided to welcome the newest additions to the school. After the unfortunate loss of three of their other teachers from the previous school year, they had gained a few new teachers.
Adjusting the lapels on his button down blue shirt and clearing his throat, Henry moved to the front of the room and looked around. His eyes briefly scanned each face, cataloging who was there and who was missing. He was sure that whoever wasn't there would arrive shortly.
"Good morning, everyone." His hands rested flatly on the podium as he spoke into the microphone. He didn't need it, but he had grown used to the novelty of it and chose to use it. "As you all should know, the fall semester begins on Monday. Most of the new students who will begin their first semester are here and settled in their lodgings. I would like to hear from each of you. Please detail your curriculum for this semester's classes and if you suspect any returning students to be a problem that needs handling. But first, I would like to welcome our newest professors. Meda Smith will be covering our Supernatural Studies classes. She comes to us with several years of experience in different areas and will be a great asset to our team. Nicola Morgan is a highly intelligent woman who will be teaching Physics and Astrology along with Appreciating Paranormal Diversity. We stole her from NASA." He smiled, the irony of that not lost on him in the least. "Please give them a round of applause and do you best to make them feel welcome here. When you detail your curriculum, please state your name and the classes you teach so that Meda and Nicola may put names with faces and studies."
He continued to stand at the podium, allowing each teacher to simply stand from their seat at the long table to give the information he'd asked for.
