Randy's Tattoo?
I was just rereading the first post in this comm and although there are several questions posed that pique my curiosity, this one is driving me nuts:

how they covered Randy's tattoo and when it's visible

I swear this is the first I've been made aware of a Randy tat, of course I know about Gale's resist tat.

What I would love to see are caps of both, are there any out there?

Hi, Kat! Awesome topic! (BTW - Tx for friending me both on IJ and LJ. Glad to see you ganked a signal today.)

I only had it confirmed myself in the past six months that Randy has a tat, which I always suspected. Tats have a slightly raised "bruisy" appearance even when covered with heavy body make-up (because tats are after all scars inflected with ink). Randy's tat is a small scorpion (veeeerrrrry interesting choice) located on his left deltoid. You can see it covered with make-up in the series if you look for it. Since you're doing the qaf_rewind thing, now's the perfect time!

I have pics of both Randy and Gale's tats, but I haven't a clue how to "paste" them into comments. *bats lame-ass wimpy eyelashes* Anyone wanna teach me to do that? *coughFLAMEcough*

In the meantime, I'll shoot my pics over to your email account. You'll know me from my email name.

	Photobucket.com is free, but they don't allow "profane" pictures. Some of Randy's photoshoots have been deleted, which totally aren't profane, imo. LJ has photo storing and sharing capability, so I would assumed IJ does too. If you need more help, holler. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Great timing, we'll be viewing and discussing 103 on qaf_rewind tomorrow, I will have an eagle eye out for Randy's tat. Whoa there. I think you may have misinterpreted Red's response here. It seemed to me she just meant something along the lines of "Hmm, I know I've had this conversation before, so I should be able to remember the answer," not anything akin to "This is such old news, why are we bothering to discuss it?". (As the *g* [grin] at the beginning of that comment and her other replies evidence clearly.)

That said, I'm thrilled you (and others) like this comm; I hope it catches on even more in the fandom. And I enjoy interacting with old-guard folks, in-betweeners like myself, and newbies too -- makes it more fun.

Me too, sort of. It's seems like such a personal story, since he doesn't talk about, that I don't really want to know, especially if it is about resisting addiction. But if it's something stupid or silly, I totally do want to know. Does that make sense?

I've come up with all sorts of bizarre ideas. My latest one is that he used to hold his pinkie and ring finger out while drinking tea, but eventually was taught the correct way. It's still hard for him not to thrust his ring finger out, so he tattooed "resist" on it, to remind him to keep it close, while drinking tea.

	Yeah, I get it. My feelings are, I want to know because I'm curious, but I don't want to know because I'm glad Gale is able to maintain so much of his personal privacy despite everything. 	LJ's suzvoy took this cap from 512 (found in a post HERE) There's a really light white spot on his shoulder, presumably to cover the tattoo, not sure if it's digital or makeup. (Better picture if you click on it, I shrunk it here) (Reply to this)
