The idea of dimensions is that the entire 'verse isn't all there is existing. The idea is that there's somewhere out there that space ships can't fly to and is a completely separate 'verse of its own.

Right now, you're in a different 'verse than Ganos. Just like I'm in a different 'verse than Orion. People get pulled here at random and can't get back to their 'verse.
