Fact: Each successive Might Ducks movie is worse than the last. They should have stuck with just the one.

Also fact: I need to stop watching crappy kid movie sequels.

This concludes today's Deep Thoughts by Olive Penderghast.

The Mighty Ducks...Man, I haven't seen those movies in a million years.

Well, I found all three in the library, if you wanted to take them off my hands.

And yes, I want someone to take them off my hands.

They used to be a guilty pleasure.

I'll take them and make Cas watch them with me.

For the first movie, go right ahead and confess that. It's charming enough. But for the second and third, I don't know if you should really own that guilty pleasure.

Great, you can stop by any time.

Makes more sense when you consider I was drunk, most of the time when I watched it?

Uh, how old were you?

I was in school. 19, 20 maybe. It was a few years after the movies came out. A lot of years.

Uh. Yeah. I know. I shouldn't have been drunk. But I was.

Oh, the way you talk about these movies I thought you were like 7.

Can't really knock college-age drinking myself.

Nah. I was in double digits when the movies came out.

I wasn't even born when the first movie came out.

I like ducks.

They're not actual ducks. They're a hockey team called The Ducks.

I don't know how I feel about that.

They were such good movies, they actually named a team in the league after them.

There was more than one?

A total of three. And by the third one you can really feel how desperate the corporate hogs were to milk the franchise.

Huhn. Never knew they made others. Guess I was a little busy.

That bad, huh?

Life happens like that.

The antics get more elaborate and crazier, but they just end up looking ridiculous on older kids.

Ouch. Never good. I'll stick with Star Wars.

Eh? I don't think so, really. Good stories are good, even if you know the people who lived them.

Like I told Sam up there, love for the first one is good. But for the second and third, you might want to keep that on the down low.

I was a kid and I was into sports. They were all good back then. Haven't seen them for a few years, though.
