Tracey wasn't sure what the current truth vomiting mess was, and honestly she was quite set on the fact that she didn't want to know. Some of the stuff that could go on at the castle, on occasion, was downright unsettling. She preferred the idea of losing a sense to being unable to filter herself. She had put up with some genuine shite from various people at points in her life; being able to filter, being able to adjust and reassemble herself was what kept her going and what had enabled her into a sense of self-value and any sort of strength. She was sure there were people who had gone through far worse, and she still had plenty of faults, but that wasn't the point. The point was that having a walls with personal things made sense. It made things work. It made things - safe.
She was worried that she might end up suddenly afflicted, there was no denying that, but at the same time she was thrilled to get out of the castle that day. Being that happy to go to work seemed laughable, but getting to somewhere that things felt normal appealed. And her morning had been downright normal. If anything, the only oddity was that work seemed to go by quickly. When lunch rolled around, she headed down the street with the goal of getting a sandwich and - well, she wasn't sure if she wanted coffee or tea, but she didn't want the junk that had been sitting out all morning at work.
After getting her order and paying, she went to sit down and found (to her irritation) that there was a lack of open tables as a whole. She stood there for a moment, contemplating what to do, with a bit of an irritated look on her face. She had gotten her drink in a to-go cup, but did she really want to go back and sit at her desk with her coworkers around? Even if she had enjoyed getting out of the castle that day, it didn't mean she wanted to spend all her time at work. Lunch was supposed to be a nice, normal break from that.
