Who: Myka and a de-aged Helena What: Myka went to sleep with her 146 year old girlfriend, and wakes up with a 24 year old one instead. When: Saturday morning Where: Helena's room Warnings: Uh possible cursing on Myka's part, possible feels on her part as well, and a somewhat freaked out Helena. Otherwise should be low, but will edit if needed!
It had been a long few days at the Warehouse. The last Artifact had given them a bit of a fit to track, but they'd finally found and apprehended it. Helena had come home, greeted her brother in passing as she headed upstairs. She made a brief stop at Christina's room. The seven year old was asleep, but Helena couldn't refrain from going over to her and giving her a soft kiss to the forehead. She then gently tucked Christina into bed a bit with a warm and adoring smile on her lips. She then turned and quietly left Christina's room, closing the door behind her and made her way to her own bedroom. Helena readied herself for bed, ready to simply fall into it. She changed into her nightgown, then put her waist length hair into a braid, tying it with a blue ribbon (one that matched her nightgown), to keep it from getting tangled while she slept. She blew the candles out, then slid into bed. It didn't take her long to fall asleep, and she certainly was looking forward to getting a good night's sleep.
Which she did. Helena slept quite soundly, so much so that whatever differences in the bed she was sleeping in when morning came didn't disrupt her sleep. It was when she started to wake that she realized something wasn't quite right. The mattress she was on was certainly not hers. It felt different. Though it was slightly odd because it seemed to conform to her body perfectly as she lay on her side. Slowly opening her eyes, Helena's sleep-hazed gaze fell on a fireplace that wasn't hers. Her eyes snapped wide open, but she didn't yet sit up or make any move in the bed.
"What..." she started to say, but stopped herself. Had she been whammied by an Artifact in her sleep? If she had, she was decidedly not going to stand for it continuing for much longer. Still unmoving, her gaze moved around what she could see of the room. It looked regal, stately, almost as if this was a castle. Though it didn't precisely look like a castle she'd been in before, which didn't narrow things down much considering England was littered with castles, not mention the rest of Europe!
She had yet to realize that she wasn't alone in the room...
