It was certainly difficult to deal with returning to life after experiencing death. It had been harder for Mara after realizing Jacen was in the place she'd been in before this. It hadn't been a good feeling to her, and it had taken her a while to really get her anger and hate under control. Especially after he'd told her the things he'd done to Ben, her son and his own cousin. Mara hadn't forgiven him for the things he did, and luckily Jacen had been smart enough not to ask for forgiveness. Though over time, Mara had come to be able to coexist with Jacen.
"I have heard of some of the things that can happen here. What have you experienced?" Mara asked as she walked along. "I'm kind of used to strange happenings. The place I was in before arriving here had a tendency for strange things to occur at times." From what Mara had heard about it so far, some of the same things happened here that she'd experienced in Kansas. But, of course, there was a distinct lack of an Apocalypse hanging in the air here, as well as a lack of any real threat beyond the strange occurrences.
