There was a lot Mara had yet to truly explore in this place. She was more interested in learning the layout of the city than she was the layout of the castle grounds. After spending the year and a half in Lawrence, Kansas and experiencing battle after battle in a build up to the supposed end of the world, Mara knew she couldn't take enough precautions. Learning the city's layout wasn't easy, it was quite a bit larger than Lawrence, but she wanted to be prepared in the event pandemonium broke out in the Land of Make Believe. Mara was a fighter, and war wasn't something that was new to her. What was new to her was this world that seemed to actually be peaceful. And she wasn't certain she actually liked that because being at rest was something unsuitable to her character. Mara always had to be doing something. She was miserable when there was nothing to do. So she was hoping that the presence of the other Jedi would help in that when they did group training.
Heading to the gardens, Mara was looking forward to this encounter. Siri intrigued her, and she certainly hoped they could strike up some sort of relationship. Even with the differences in the Jedi Orders they both knew, she hoped things wouldn't be that difficult to work around. Some Jedi were more set in their ways than others when it came to rules and differences in the matter. Though at the same time, Mara couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt. After all, while she'd been Palpatine's assassin, she'd killed some Jedi that had escaped the Purge. But she kept that guilt to herself, not letting it enter her Force presence, not wanting Siri to feel that as she approached, easily spotting the other woman.
"Hello, Master Tachi," Mara greeted with a bow. Even though it was possibly unnecessary, Mara still felt the more formal greeting and acknowledgement of Siri's rank was warranted at least for this instance. She was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, her lightsaber and shota clipped to her belt.
