Obi-Wan watched the boy for a long moment. He could feel nothing but frustration from him, underscored by, yes, a desire to succeed and a feeling of failure.
"Anakin, we both need to understand what you hope to get out of your training, or this is never going to work. I won't dig it out of your mind. I know you're frustrated and if you're so exceedingly frustrated, then we're working at cross-purposes. It won't last. If I'm going to understand what you want from your training, then you have to tell me." He paused, still watchful. "It is your training, in the end, and if it doesn't serve your needs then it won't take."
