Her gaze rested on him for a long moment as he dealt with the tea. And when he turned towards her again she didn’t look away.
A small smile flickering across her face was the only acknowledgment of the thanks she gave. She rarely did; he should be more than used to that after all the years of knowing her. There was no need for him to thank her, anyway. She’d only done what being in a body not his own had prevented him from doing.
