Upon hearing she had something around her mouth, Helena initially touched a couple fingers to the area. But given the fact those fingers had just been holding a rib smothered in barbeque sauce, she only succeeded in adding to the sauce that was around her mouth. "Oh bollocks," she muttered as she reached for her napkin to clean her mouth off. The normally primp and proper Victorian woman was not one who stooped to using curse words. She typically found them vulgar and base. However in times when she was exceptionally irritated or upset, she was known to curse.
"Who ever had the bright idea of thinking this food was fit for civilized people? I mean really." She kept the tone of her voice so only Claudia could clearly hear what she was saying. She wasn't going to make a scene, after all. That would just be even more vulgar and base of her, so she was just going to sit on it. For now, anyway.
