"Okay, so maybe Myka's will be a little less surprised. But you get the idea." Claudia remarked, all too happy (and not hiding it at all) that she had gotten a laugh out of H.G. At the same time, she also was (admittedly) amused at the remark about H.G. turning into a queen again, so that helped perk her up too. "And I'm always ready to step in and be the royal pain, so - debatable."

"Oh!" Claudia leaned over and inspected the ring, thoughtfully, before looking back to H.G. with a hint of suspicion. "Is it coincidental that it has a mesh of dark and light with the big stone in the middle being light - thus light 'winning' out so to speak, or is that something that might have added to why you like it?"
