OMFG! Anakin might do ~something~ *pearl clutch* ([info]darkforcerising) wrote in [info]makebelievelog,
Anakin closed his eyes and sighed deeply. He opened his mind to the Force and took in the essence of everything in that room. Crude matter of wood and fiber and stone were easy to sift out so that all that remained in his mind were the living, breathing beings. Sonya was on a chair by the fireplace. Padmé was next to him.

And there was that … something new, just mere centimeters – if that – below where his hand rested. He couldn’t yet call it a presence in the Force. The balance of its existence was so fragile; he could feel how the shift in any direction but forward would unravel everything that had happened thus far. It wasn’t strong, and only by the feeblest definition would he call it a cohesive entity. It was hardly defined more than that it was developing into something separate from the life around it. It was difficult to measure its rate of change from day to day, but when Anakin thought about what it felt like only a month previous, there were clear, perceptible differences.

“Us,” Anakin answered, and he meant more than just him and Padmé. “I can feel them… not like you, or me, or even Sonya, but…” He opened his eyes again, and the depth of his look added to his meaning. “I can feel what is there.”
