Helena was no doubt aware that she didn't need to spoil Myka with material things, but she couldn't exactly help it. The Victorian woman was happy and she wanted to indulge in the feeling as much as she could. She'd never had the chance to give gifts to a lover before like this. Helena never did tire of letting Myka know how much she was loved and how happy she made her. After everything she had suffered in her life, Helena hadn't thought she could ever achieve happiness to this level. Yet here she was having Myka prove her wrong yet again. And it was a topic that she enjoyed being wrong about.
"Well then, that is very useful information to know," Helena returned with a smirk. She would most certainly put that information to use in the future. Though she was temporarily distracted from such thoughts by the beaming smile that was on her lover's face. She did love seeing Myka smile like that. It lifted her heart and made Myka all the more beautiful to her. Though of course whenever she said as much to Myka, she meant it as being more than simply skin deep. Beauty ran far deeper than just what someone's appearance was. Myka's mind, heart and soul were beautiful, and it certainly made Myka the most beautiful person she'd ever seen. Myka was the lover that Helena had spent her entire life dreaming of, and now she had her.
"I beg to differ on that topic, love. But I fear we could sit here for the rest of our lives arguing such a point." Helena chuckled softly, her dark eyes shimmering with warmth. Though with the comment about what Myka was hungry for, Helena looked Myka over again, her eyes sweeping down her lover's body then back up. "Are you now? Would you then be hungry for something warm and soft?" She noted the shock Myka and took a step closer to her lover. "Are you saying you would care for an appetizer, then?" Helena arched her brows, gazing a bit intently at Myka. She was wondering just how forward she would be. Yet Myka wouldn't be the only one acting in such a way as Helena didn't have a filter on herself either.
