The gifts that she had received from Helena earlier that day had been more than enough. But it still warmed her heart to know that her girlfriend had gotten her something else. To be honest she didn't need anything except for the Victorian woman's love. So long as that was returned then she would be perfectly content with her life. When it came down to it, Myka knew that as long as Helena was here she wouldn't let her go. She had just barely survived losing Pete and Steve and would only be able to carry on should Claudia be sent home if the Victorian woman was still there. Myka only broadcast a smile at first in response to Helena calling her out. "I can't help but stare at your ass in all its firm glory" Helena was generally more snarky than she was but Myka could dish it out just as well.
The smile on Myka's face grew until it was a beaming smile. Every time that Helena would tell her that she was beautiful or show her how beautiful that she was it brought a smile to her face. Ever since she had confirmed to the Victorian woman how her sister Tracey had always been the pretty one, Myka was constantly reminded that she was beautiful. It wasn't that she was ugly. But in school her head had always been stuck in a book and rarely would guys want to be around her. If they had it was because they wanted to cheat off of her or ask her for help with an assignment. Tracey had been the popular one that never had a moment where boys weren't fawning over her. It helped boost her confidence to know that Helena found her beautiful.
"You are far more beautiful than I could ever be," Myka said. She may be beautiful in the older woman's eyes but for Myka, the Victorian woman was gorgeous. Everything that she had never known that she had wanted. Generally when Helena asked a question Myka would carefully think of her answer. But that wouldn't be the case today. Words just spilled out of her mouth without even a pause. "I may be hungry but it isn't for food." There was a moment of silence after she spoke where Myka was in a bit of shock. While she had opened up and been more free with her expression she had never been quite so forward.
