Harry was actually enjoying spending time with this woman, and explaining to her how magic worked. Or, at least, how he understood magic to work. "I didn't think magic was possible, before my eleventh birthday. I got my letter to Hogwarts on that day, and... everything changed after that." He had been raised by Muggles, as he had said before. And the Muggles had done everything in their power to ensure that Harry didn't learn of magic's existence. Though it still wasn't enough, Harry learned about it.
"The Ministry doesn't really control magic. They just regulate it, they give rules to the ones who can do magic. And yes, they keep Muggles from knowing. Because people slip up, and there needs to be some sort of control over it." He offered Jane a small smile, and leaned against the back of the bench.
"Would you like to see more magic? There is more to it than just this Snitch."
