She knew she shouldn't be upset. Her and Bella hadn't been on speaking terms since Hogwarts, perhaps a year or so after. These days Bella was obviously completely insane and hardly a good judge of character. But that didn't change the fact that she was Andromeda's big sister, and they'd been close once. Years and years ago, but there had been a time when Andromeda would have done anything to remain in her and the family's good books. And it hurt to be called those things, to have her husband and family called those things by a woman who she'd once been close to.
Andromeda wasn't about to say these things to Teddy and Nymphadora. She loved them both, didn't regret her decision to start her own family for a moment. But that didn't mean there wasn't a part of her that wished that somehow, she might have had the opportunity for both worlds. She knew they hated Bella (They should do. Andromeda should hate her as well.), and knew that dragging them into the dynamic between herself and the other Black sister would only put them in danger. But she needed to speak with someone, even if it wasn't a talk about all this. Someone who wasn't connected to her sister or her. Someone new.
Which was why she was waiting for Kurt against one wall of the courtyard, dressed in jeans and a red cardigian, her arms wound protectively around her waist.
