Don't be dramatic.

He's a Padawan. How often do Padawans do things correctly? Not often, they're not supposed to be prefect. But if you're only giving him positive reinforcement when he succeeds he's going to assume every other time you speak with him, which is a lot, you're at a minimum correcting something he's doing wrong.

This is what Do or Do Not teaches.
