That he was touching her so... easily made her breath catch in her throat as much as his fingertips trailing up the inside of her wrist did. It was the locked door, she suspected, making him so at ease, but his actions still affected her. She pressed closer, attention only half on their conversation. The rest was on him; the colour of his eyes, his hair moving gently in the slight breeze. The feel of his fingertips on her arm, against her skin. His presence in the Force.

Just... him.

Her smile was one of her rarer ones, gentle and so very fond.

He reached up, then, his fingers threading into the hair framing her face, tucking it behind her ear.

"She said if you choose the right people to attach yourself to, they can strengthen your resolve to act for the greater good."
